Dino is one in a million and put me on the map in the whippet
world. I am so thrilled to have had a chance to share the years
with such a special dog. Dino has truly done everything I
could ever imagine and then some. A few highlights of his
career deserve mentioning. We believe Dino has the all-time
most sweepstakes wins in US Whippet history, winning 7
and most at specialties... as he was such a beautiful puppy.
Then, he was specialed to the top 20 in 2000, earning this
position while also ranking #5 AKC coursing and earning
Multiple BIF's and both his ASFA and AKC FCh, while being
competitively shown in the breed ring. He has earned 7
Award of Merits, including a National Award of Merit under
Iva Kimmelman and a Best of Opposite Sex at a specialty to
his grandmother, Florie. Dino continues to produce very
sound puppies, has a number of champions to his credit both
on the coursing field and in the conformation ring. He will be
shown as a Veteran selectively and currently is living a
semi-retired life with my mother in Southern Illinois.
